These articles are about how the idea of “starvation mode” is not only grossly exaggerated, it does not exist. (at least not in the sense it is usually used in)
drastically cutting caloric intake is not a good idea, your body does need the nutrition but drastically cutting simply slows you down. Not promoting this, just saying most of the stuff out there about it is garbage.
